Well done Rob,

You will have to do The Narrows and Gladstone on the way back?

From what you said I will definitly be doing Lady Musgrave and Fitzroy Reef next time I go north!

Next big stop is Middle Percy and the 'A Frame'. Don't miss it [you will see Seaka's burgee on the left as you go up the stairs.]
Give my regards to John at the homestead and ask how the bee hives are going.

How's the fishing going?
Phillip.

long time since my last post sorry guys, I've been up in the islands for a while now and am just about done for this year. I was out on Hook Reef last week and that was awesome. The uv cover has come adrift on the genoa when it unfurled while I was dropping the main in 44kts, so I'll get that fixed here in Airlie and then take sundowner back to Bundaberg where I'll leave here on the hard while I go south and earn some more cash for next years cruising kitty. My plan now is to come back and sail up to lizard then take her home to Victoria.

It's been a great trip and the boat has performed admirably, the skipper is her only handicap but he's learning to sail now.
I look at other boats and dream, but in reality the top hat is all I need. (and all I can afford). Whenever I say Top Hat everyone says "oh they're a good boat" and no one has asked "what is that?"

mostly I get " YOU SAILED UP FROM VICTORIA IN THAT?"...... shit yeah no worries.

cheers
Rob
