Rod,

This has been discussed before.

It's to all of our advantages to see who are the best/cheapest/worst/most expensive etc sail makers around at the moment.

We will all, sometime in the future, or now, have to deal with a sailmaker to replace aging sails.

So please post your stories and comments here.

But by all means send PM's for special private deals and names of bad sailmakers.

:D I personally use my neighbour, 2 up the road but 1km away, who just happens to be a sailmaker working from home and in a Sydney sail loft.
His prices for me so far have been very reasonable. He has his sails cut by a cutting firm who use computer driven cutters to cut out the sail panels.
He just does the sewing!
