Thanks Everyone for your help.
i'm using the portosol that is shown in the photos above. Is that what everyone else is using?
Thanks Diana for the clues on using sea water, that must save heaps on carrying weight out to the boat, just a bucket from over the side.
Here's to a happier time on board.
Greg.

Hi Shaun

Egret II (1st wife) :o has a penny box under the front v berth for special occassions such as christenings 100 year olds birthday parties and such mile stones . But mainly when the wife (2nd) :o comes on board  Otherwise everyboby else gets the gyprock bucket with a rope attached. And if anybody complains well ! they carn't be that desparate to go.And if they make a mess of themselves ? Well Bear has soap on a rope just for that special moment  Anyway you know the story about the bear and the rabbit walking in the woods ? Well that's my only problem !! So all I can say is" thank god for soap on a rope " S@#t I hope my wife never reads this or 1st wife and Bear might be all alone.

Cheers Bear

Hi there

Thought some Top Hatters with 'potti problems' may be interested in the Air Head Marine Composting Toilet; we recently installed one on Leoden and so far it's been great, no smells, no odors, no through hull fittings, and pleased with the prospect of only having to empty the solids once or twice per year. Installation was relatively easy, it sits comfortably where the existing head went, and we removed the forward cowl and enlarged the hole to fit the solar vent and pipe. Picture attached.

Cheers
