Hi Shaun,

I do that, but for some reason the site doesn't recognize me and I have to to complete the name, I simply click the blank space and the password enters automatically, I tick the "for God's sake try and remember me" box and then I am allowed in. I don't bother to log out, so it should work next time but doesn't. I am not complaining, it is not really a hassle but I must have a gremlin in my computer that won't play ball and Dan couldn't rectify it either.
As you see, I can cope without losing hair over it - and that has nothing to do with the fact that I don't have much!

Tonight at 2000hrs the Top Hat website will be changing to a new web host (any posts made after 2000hrs may not be auto-saved).
Hopefully all will go well, the new site address is www.tophatyachts.com ,there will be some testing going on & the new site should be operational later this evening.

Welcome to the new site all, please let me know if you find any issues, please bare with me on some features as they are not completely setup yet, prime example of this is the Gallery

All seems to work well.

Is the banner on the home page OK? On the iPad, it doesn't seem to display all the words for Top Hat Yachts.....

Love the look though.

Yeh it is ok, but it just needs some tweaking for low resolution screens such as laptops i forgot to check as i use a 27inch screen at home haha

Banner has now been changed to two parts, one for the logo and the other for the background and this should take care of the sizing issues with different screen resolutions now

An Paypal donations block has been setup on the front page for people to use if they wish to contribute to the cause, this is not expected nor required but if you wish to chip in then the link allows for this to be easily done and a dedicated paypal account has been registered for the website only

done a little more tweaking this morning and got all the icons on the portal running so it looks a little more polished now
will be starting work on trying to get the blurbs about tophats back as well

Update:

I have put created the pages required and migrated the old information about the Top Hats onto the new front page however i think some of this information may be old out dated or missing so if there is anyone who has more information (especially on the mk II as there is currently nothing) it would be great if we could get this all fixed up

I'm going to rework all that information next week. I also have extra stuff that has not yet been published.

But; could you please put somewhere on the info page the statement that the info is for private use only and that anybody who wishes to publish the info in any another medium MUST ask permission to do so as I and others who have contributed to the history claim the rights of "Author" to that information.

Unfortunately this did happen on the old site and incorrect information has been published in another medium.
