This event is still on for any Top hats interested. Meet around mid day at the Basin for a lunch and a cruise in company in the afternoon, followed by an overnighter for those interested at the Basin or at Refuge Bay depending on the breeze. Look forward to catching up with everyone.

I am based in south Sydney so possibly could help sailing there or back, but only on the weekend. Let me know if anyone is interested!

Well, as all things go, I only have about a 10% chance of getting to the sailaway.
We are getting a bathrooom put in and the inevitable defects rectification has caused the tiler to walk off the job.
Next week will be taken up with our builder fighting with the Tile supplier. So I wish everyone a good sail away.

Greg, we are in the throws of a kitchen refurbishment so I can relate to your problems.

I hope the weather will be better next weekend. Storm Petrel and her motley crew will be there for an early lunch ( provided there is not a 4m plus southerly swell running that closes the entrance to Brisbane Waters). Perhaps others who are coming on the 24th should reconfirm their attendance so we can get an idea of who to expect/look out for? I will tow a 3 person dinghy across so we have one available for the day.

I'm going to be there!!
Dad and I are heading up there on his boat which is sadly not a tophat but a supersonic, most likely on friday night or early saturday morning. Dads boat is a 27 foot yacht with red antifoul and a gold boot strap and white hull, we should be to hard to find.
Really looking forward to looking over all your boats for ideas.
I will bring photos of the dawn breaker to show the progress.
Looking forward to meeting you guys at the basin on the 24-25th.

It seems that not many can make it on Saturday, so my crew have voted to just come over for the day and not stay over night (so we will not bring a dinghy) We will try and be at the Basin about 12 to 1 pm and can be contacted by a call for Storm Petrel on VHS Chanel 16.
