Legs for your yacht

Let me know if any one is going to make these i would be very interested in a pair, just being able to get into shallow water and stay there for a while is worth the expense never mind being able to clean the bottom or repairs

a set of these are on my list for after the refit- i think the ones he made are a bloody good design. many of the others I've seen are more like the yachtlegs ones which need a hole through the hull which isn't going to happen. As they are not going to be on the boat all the time I am using some gal. that I have lying around from other jobs. I measured Joylee while she was out of the water and the height from keel to toerail was 2070mm. don't know how that would compare to the fibreglass versions(but I am curious! :?: ) so now all i need is a little time and maintainence will be a little cheaper!!! :D

You could modify an Acrow prop for the job:

They are heavy and only galvanised, so probably left at home for most of the time.

I entertained the idea of building some legs using heavy duty aluminium fence posts. Then I found out it was illegal to careen your boat in Sydney waters and lost interest. I know of a couple of sailors who have taken their boats up the Hawkesbury for a budget antifoul between tides but don't know if this was legal or not.
