TIPS PLS? WINCHES & WIRES....

Hi all - I am a (still) an amateur top hatter - but trying to slowly increase the safety and function of my boat.

Therefore, I am eager to replace the genoa winches, with one broken and the other on the way out. What size winches do I need to get?

Also - I need to find a way to better secure my two batteries, which are in a locker on the starboard side next to the engine. Has anyone installed battery boxes - and are they a good option?

HI Brendan i have just installed 2x 80ah" jell batteries no acid or gas" for fridge and house bank under front bunk no box neaded, but lead acid battery in engine bay is in plastic box for acid spills and are all well lashed down hope this helps cheers brett
