15 months.

An attractive, comfortable, sturdy and reliable Mk1

We have renamed the boat Pippin which by definition means 'an excellent person or thing' (very fitting!)

I have known almost every owner of my boat personally since she was built in 1971 and I bought her in September 2005, when scaling down from bigger yachts. A prolonged illness forced her sale in May 2008, but when I recovered I was lucky to be able to repurchase her when she came back on the market in August 2011. I won't make the mistake of parting with the best pocket cruising boat ever designed again!

I purchased Grace2 in January 1994 (that makes it 18 years), an outboard auxiliary mark 1 that had seen better days, moored at Cammeray in Sydney. Since then I have found out a great deal about rain water leaks, hull-deck joints and windows to list but a few items. All that aside, she is the right size and has provided hours of pleasure, even just sitting in the cockpit on the mooring and feeding the ducks. I expect to keep her for a while yet.
Cheers
