Hey guys,
I have a Arona Al 186 desiel motor on my boat. I dont want it because i have a outborad which i think is easier to maintain as you can bring it home and work on it in the shed, and the desiel takes up more storage space.
Arona has not been around for about 20 years and they are really hard to get parts for.
If any tophater has a Arona and needs parts or knows of anyone please let them know i am selling it.

Does the Arona work?

I have the same Arona Al 186 motor, the motor seems quite hardy, I have not been able to kill it yet!, undecided if i'll go to an outboard or try to repair the old Arona if I ever have any major troubles with it.
I am interested in buying it, but not at the moment, too many other things going on at the mo', would need to find somewhere to store it etc.

The arona would go but it needs a bit of work, the belt pullies are rusted up, but i recon with a bit of work it would go, im not ready to take it out yet either but when i do ill store it in the shed and when you or anyone else needs parts contact me.
