Need a teacher

Postby rodfor » Thu Jan 12, 2012 6:57 am

Hello all bought my first boat three months ago (having a ball ) did a sailing course a few years ago and I am gradually recalling what I learned there but I know I have sooo much to learn even in the basics .
Is there any kind soul out there that would give a slightly confused Irish man a couple of hours to go over my boat and give a few pointers

Cheers

Where are you based rodfor? Have you brought your boat down to Brisbane Waters yet or are you still on Lake Macquarie? I would be happy to take you out on my boat (from Pretty Beach) for a couple of hours one day if it would help. Alternatively, one of the Mad Hatters from Lake Macquarie might be able to come with you on your boat. Is there a BEAR OUT THERE that could help?

Cheers,
Mark

Are you single, strong, handsome and able to peel grapes?

Rodfor, if you're not strong handsome and able to peel grapes and are somewhere near Pittwater I'd be happy to meet up and give a few pointers, but I'd think Diana's offer is much more attractive.

As usual I am overcome with the response (especially yours Diane) but I'm neither young ,single or a grape peeler (will hang onto the handsome for now ) seriously thanks for the offers don't want to take away from the the precious times we get on our own boat its just I wanted to make sure everything on my boat was as it should be and that I was using it correctly.I know I'm not experienced enough yet to venture out of the lake but when I do will come visiting you all in Pitwater.
I suppose the best way to handle my request is if any of the Hatters see me out on the water and want to be of assistance give we a Yooo and pull along side
My little piece of heaven!!! Is called " Our Ship" (hate the name will change it soon ) so if you see me out there come on over

Cheers
