Anchor well for MK 1

Anchor well for MK 1

Has anyone ever cut an anchor well into a MK1? If so is it a difficult job? I'd really appreciate some info on this. On my previous MK 2 , I found the anchor well worked really well; the prop was always deep in the water, the weight of the motor was well forward, all in all a good arrangement.

Peter,

I carry my anchor on the bow roller.
Had to set up an extension to the bow roller and a tie down point, but it works very well :D .
