Bonding Alloy to Aluminium

Mornings,

I am installing a windex (wind indicator) on my masthead and given the shape and position are unable to drill to fit the base plate.

I am only left with the option of using an adhesive to bond the base plate to the mast head.

I will be getting the base plate cut from aluminium and just wanted to know what the best adhesive / epoxy was to bond this to the alloy mast head, and what others have used with sucess.

Thoughts?
