Top Hat wanted in Tasmania

Wanted a Top Hat located in Tasmania,
Preffer MK1 or MK2 buta3 is considered.

On the 4th of March I bought a 1986 MK3 Top Hat.
Now the fun begins

Hi.... Where are you in Tassie?...please...define "fun" (chuckles)...I also bought... a Mk11 just last month.
I'd like to see some photos of your later model...Mine is 1980 I think and I am trying to gather all history from the three
previous owners. I have found the 2 so far....one being the person from whom I bought it.I have been rapidly introduced
into the scary world of ownership...the denizens are not all of the deep. The seller (to me) bought it two years ago...took it
out. Motor died. sailed back to mooring. He fixed the engine (low compression, cooling system kaput) and never took
it out agan. Went to insure it...told only insurable if rigging no older than 5 years or 8-10 if examined and passed by rigger.
"It will only cost about $2000". Rigging chap said "I remember replacing this rigging about 10 years ago." Oh!...I'll get it
renewed then,I believe it's about $2000... "2000..?...no $4000. Oh!!...ok go ahead....and then the fun began....If I
ever do it again I'll have a survey first, the seller is 'remembering' things which are sunstantially increasing the
'dream-dinero' .

I look at the photos of all I see just from curiosity....reputation is good but there seem to be numerous styles...not all
from one mould. I like the look of mine...Cheers...

Hi, I am in Kingston and next Sunday we are moving Pele from Deep Bay to Kettering.
The boat is in a good condition and only needs rebushing the rudder and replacing the seacocks.
Restoring or keeping a yacht like this for me is fun.
