Refitting Keel shoe and rudder bearing questions

Have reffitted the keel shoe.The new oversize pin has a a boss machined on it to further spread the lateral forces.I think it should new be good for another 30 odd years.

Beautiful piece of work Percyverhance . I've replaced some of my bolts with stainless and have one stuck one to do next time. Wished it looked new like your setup.

Thanks mate.I was surprised at how easy the shoe came off.
I went down there that day with some heavy duty tools to remove the shoe but with the bolts removed,some gentle tapping with a soft faced hammer, and it fell off.
