Just had a chance squiz on Marinewatch and Comanche is making good time past Port Phillip Island.I assume she is headed for Port Phillip Bay.If so she she should be coming through the heads well before dark.Look out for her if you are out and about on the bay tommorow.

Anyone have any idea which YC will be hosting Comanche?

She is steaming up the bay with 25kn behind her.Came through the heads at max rip.Obviously didn't want to wait for the slack tide at 9.00pm.

Comanche is tied up at Pier 35 marina.Sort of makes sense I guess There wouldn't be many YC'S around the bay that could accommodate a boat with 6 or 7mtr draft.

Thanks for the heads up Dave.
Will try to get a look at her.
Seven meters draft eh! I'm still getting used to 1.9!

Had a quick look landside at her yesterday Tom and she is a fine looking vessel. They are taking the mast down shortly and then dismantling the boat to ship it back to the USA.It will be a Pier 35 marina until the 11th Jan.Hope to get up the river to check her out out later in the week
