Didn't get far today!

A bit of a WOW for me as I was over there in '76 and that part of the coast was deserted!

Rob went nowhere today?

May have come into this anchorage from this direction?

A message this afternoon said that they are weather bound [southerly winds] and are hoping to get away in about two days.

Hope it's not to rough on that coast!

Post today [Sunday 26th] from Rob on Facebook. 8-)

"Been at anchor inside Ningarloo Reef for 5 days now waiting for the wind to drop, probably be here a few more days as well. Constant winds of 20/25/30 knots S/SW which makes beating pretty pointless. Sundowner spends more time laid over with water coming aboard than sailing. I've hoisted the phone up the mast to get a signal. Good holding here although no water or shops, little phone signal. I've still got heaps of canned muck to eat at least, and Luke got a ride to a shop yesterday and scored some veg."

At long last Rob is on the move again. Posted this on Facebook.

"Sailing at last, quickly loosing interest in this coast. Finally get to move on today, had a good look at the forecast and think I only have to put up with some leftover swell and a couple of blows so heading for Maud’s Landing then Shark Bay hopefully in this window."

Rob made it to Maud Landing/Coral Bay today. Very wet inside apparently :P

I was here last in 1976 and I can tell you there was NOTHING at all there!

Anyway Rob wonders are lifelines necessary... Hell yes!
