Well we are on the home run.

Yesterday the deck gear fixing holes were drilled.

And today I installed the new deck winch. Will add the rest of the gear when I get help. [Arms aren't long enough!!]

Tomorrow [Friday] undercoat in the main cabin or install deck gear or polish deck.

Today the deck gear went in. Here's longdeepthinker working hard on the cabin roof! Many thanks John.

Here is the result. Note: two reef lines a vang and tack downhaul to go in when the boom returns.

Also did the undercoat to the cabin. Took three hours to do.
This worked a lot better than before. No sunlight coming through the paint now!

So, a final top coat then the varnish and all the painting will be done!! :D :D :D

You have accomplished a huge amount of work Phillip. Incredible.

What paint are you using on the interior?

Thanks JM :D :D

Louis, I'm using Norglass Shipshape Epoxy in the exposed areas inside and Norglass Weatherfast gloss enamel in the lockers.
I am not painting the exterior, [this time ?]

Remember this paint job was started last October to overcome the mould problem I HAD.

Seems to have got a little bit out of hand!!

But happy so far with all the results, including the paint job! :D

Very nice job Phillip, makes us all look a bit slack in the maintenance department. I am sure the new interior paint will keep the mould at bay and give her an extra knot at least!

Regards,
Mark

Met up with Sonia "Curly Tops" and Dave - "ex Peppercorn" over Easter.
So 3 boats rafted up together for French champagne and bbq.

Raspberries to those who decided not to join.

More yummy bubbly for us. 8-)
