Brad,

What sort of motor do you have?

I used a 5hp and with the east Australian current I coundnt believe how fast the trip was from fly point to kogarah bay motorsailing with a light northeaster.

As said before, there isnt a lot to worry about, just give the north head of botany bay a bit of room.

The planes are great to watch, the eddies from the jetwash can make racing in light winds interesting!!

Hi Jeremy ,

Sorry it's been a few days , as I have just started in my new position as a Traffic Controller on a Building Site . In answer to your question , I have a Mercury 8hp Two Stroke on he back of Mooja , though I do require to buy an O/B Bracketto position motor height lower off stern , and maybe a long Shaft to ensure motor maintains good bite in rough waters .

Catch up soon mate ,

Brad
