Louis, what about the crocodiles?

Never saw any, perhaps they were not wearing their yellow lifejackets and so were hard to see. Where my boat-club mate and his son-in-law have anchored their boats (I gave em a hand) is about where I took this pic some months back.

It must be a worrying moment a present ? We never realize our position until we see others in theirs !

PS Troppo where is the actual river bank in the photo ?

It's odd, while there is still danger to Windchaser, my concern is for other folk here and elsewhere who are doing it tougher, like the guy still lost down the mouth of the Fitzroy River somewhere.

This will give you some idea of where the action is.

Greg, I may have to rethink how large I make the drains in the cockpit.

And when I lift the outboard up from the well, I might need some weldmesh to cover it.

Worst we have had down here is a bit of (dead) ash on the deck from the bushfires.

Here on lake Macquarie at present it's a little breezy and rain .We're are only getting a deck wash at the moment ? but things might change later so they say ?

As luck would have it...I reckon Seaka & Blue Moon are better off here at Fame Cove PS, than in the Camden Haven River at the moment!, with wind against flood waters & tide

Hopefully it won't get any worse for you folks. The low has done lots of nasty things all along the coast, heaps of boats seriously damaged. I think Bundaberg with its very popular river for yachts is the worst hit.
