Weekend get together/social race in Broken Bay

Sorry Diana, I told the the HRYC to go with the November date last night. The Nov date is the 24th and 25th; surely you could be back by the evening of the 27th?

ALL OTHER TOP HATTERS, please mark the 24/25 Nov on your calendars. If you cannot make it for both days you might be able to make one day or come for the BBQ. It would be great to get a strong fleet there as it will encourage the club to continue the event in future years.

Top Hat with 'bells on' will be something to see! Great you can make it. Might have Aaron (Dawn Breaker is still a work in progress apparently)and possibly his father available as extra crew if anyone needs them.

Sadly, while we were organising a date another function came up that commandeered both available weekends for the HRYC. Cliff however has promised that a Top Hat event will be organised by the club for the 9th and 10th of February next year. This gives everyone plenty of notice so let's try to get a dozen Top Hats from users group to this event!

Anyone interested in a raft-up in the Basin on the weekend of the 24/25 Nov anyway??? (Meet for lunch, maybe a sail around to refuge in the afternoon and an over-nighter or an afternoon sail around Lion Island and return for an over-nighter at the Basin for those interested.

Raft up sounds grand, we may have a re-union to go to Saturday night, but would come out Pne of the days to catch up.

Dad and I are heading up there on his boat which is sadly not a tophat but a supersonic.
Really looking forward to looking over all your boats for ideas.
I will bring photos of the dawn breaker to show the progress.
