Mike,
A few of us will be at Wangi Workers on Friday night. If you'd like to meet us there, just to warm up the seats and get a good spot.
Hopefully Egret II, Marinka, Felicite, Oberon II ?
Wangi RSL has breakfast, bacon eggs and sausages, for $7 on Sat Sun and Public hols. Can't miss that. The RSL is a short walk (Stagger) from the Workers.

The wonders of modern technology sees me typing this at 6 knots under main only about 5nm east of The Entrance. Left at 0340 and have about 25nm to go I suspect. Heres hoping the wind holds!

How was the sail Michael? The conditions looked perfect. I was so jealous having to drive down to Sydney on Friday morning seeing that nice southerly blowing.

The sail was uneventful, fairly messy but following seas, and a 20knot tailwind.
Log on Careel Bay 0317. Drop mooring 0340. Arrive Swansea visitors mooring 1130. Average speed 5.4 knots. 45nm top speed 10.1! I'll try and write more later and post it in Top Hat Voyages.
It was a fantastic weekend. Greg and Bear were gracious hosts and the Wangi clubs are great places to hang out when you're not sailing.
