Regretably, due to time issues and work and all that stuff that gets in the road of boats, I have decided to sell my Mk3 Top Hat. Better to have her sailing than sitting on a mooring.
She is good condition, but is due for antifoul and requires new windows at some point soon. Sails are good and I was in the process of ordering a new head sail as the one I had was damaged by a storm. Insurance has covered that, so essentially, there is a new head sail, albeit not on the boat yet. There is however an older head sail on the boat at the moment which has been fine around the bay. Headsail is self furling. Also has a spinnaker, never raised by me and in good condition and there is a spare (ie, the original) main.
There is a 15hp Johnson o/b too, just serviced. If you go by the 10 year rule, rigging is due in 2012.
Other extras are Quicksilver inflatable with 2hp Honda (inflatable sits on a registered 5x4 box trailer), GME DSC VHF, 27Mhz (not installed though), GME AM/FM/SW radio, 406Mhz EPIRB, ST1000 Plus, a new battery (from memory, 45ah) and some life jackets if needed, including an auto inflating one. There is also an auto bilge pump, still in the box, not installed.
Layout inside is the 'standard' Mk3 design and with the exception of a small leak in the window if it rains (hence the need for new windows), the boat is very dry inside and no leaks below and cushions are in good condition. New v-birth mattress.
Currently moored in Jervis Bay.
I will post some pictures in the next couple of days, but in the mean time I just wanted to get the post up, before I changed my mind again.
