It does look like a professionally built boat, and one would hope the addition of the sugar scoop was worth it, but wow, it's a lot of cash for a 25 footer!

Brett is a shipwright and bought this boat for his own use. He was so impressed with the design that he bought the Top Hat moulds and as far as I know still has them.
He has spared no cost in time and quality of materials on this boat as he intended to be using it for a long time.
Took him longer to complete than he expected because of his boat building business commitments. The size of his family grew during that time so he had to start again on a bigger boat.
Regarding the asking price, I don’t think one should compare it with even a tidy MkII. Probably more reasonable to view it as a custom built 27’ with a brand new interior.
My contact with him over the years, seeking information and advice, left me with the impression of him as a genuine bloke and a skilled tradesman.
I haven’t seen the boat and please don’t take this post as any endorsement of the product but I though that an explanation of how it came to be what it is was warranted.
Wish the interior of my boat looked like that!
Cheers,
Tom
