I am not sure what you mean by bedding.

Do you mean sheets, pillows, doona?

I use queen size sheets and tuck them in.
Much easier to tuck in the excess than stretch something that is too small.

Hi, I have thought about how to gain extra storage for mooring gear, such as fenders, mooring ropes and perhaps emergency gear, such as wire cutters and even the bilge-pump handle. I have come to the conclusion that a simple marine ply box, preferably sheathed in fibreglass, could be the answer, with the lid to house the emergency gear. I believe that this could be constructed and mounted above the rear cockpit drains, between the both sides of the cockpit. This could be easily at hand, and take up no space as my boat has an inboard and does not use this area except for the drainage.
What do you think?
