Sundowner Y86 Southern Coast

Okay had my first taste of the southern ocean and the swell is quite daunting. I'll get ready here in Esperance and have a few day hops out to Middle Island and Leave from there to Streaky Bay. Getting the weather right is the hard part, I heard tonight a boat has been waiting here for three months. I won't be waiting that long I'll get on the back of a front and am bound to get hit by another one before I get across.

I've set up a share page that will show the last 7 days of fixes (hopefully) as of now there is only the test I sent of sundowner at anchor. When I'm on the move I send a fix report morning and afternoon. Also one when I reach anchorage.

if you shrink the map you should see the land

Hi Rob. Do u you use the Bom swell chart. It gives a seven day swell forecast and is pretty accurate

yeah I've got all the shortcuts to bom in a folder but of late I've been using buoy weather app which gives wind and swell for five days wherever you drop the pin
