Evening All,

I think it's time to transfer this topic to to the "Top Hat Voyages" section as we do have two Top Hats out there Cruising now with another couple setting off next week.

I can report that Rob Lovelace in Sundowner has anchored for the night in Marshell Bay on Flinders Island.

Mick Ellis on Pele is anchored on the northern side of the Batemans Bay, awaiting to cross the bar into the Batemans Bay Marina tomorrow [Friday].

Meanwhile Shaun and I are completing preparations for a departure next week, subject to weather.
:D

Gday,

I just have to bolt on the OB bracket to the transom, put up the sails & check them, & provision which I can do easily before thursday.
Oh & clean her bum(will hire scuba or something for that, bit of growth on her, will be a bit of a job).
Weather not looking favourable until at least friday/weekend anyway.

cheers

Afternoon All on this very hot first day of 2013,

Shaun and I plan to be out of the Camden Haven very early next Saturday [5th] and it looks like we will make Broken Bay early Sunday afternoon in one sail!
I will confirm our departure and maybe we will see some Top Hats In Pittwater?

:D

Have just spoken to Mick on PELE who is enjoying himself at Bermagui.
He said:
“At Bermagui, arrived last night, midnight, rafted up to large fishing boat, very pleasant. Will stay here for a couple of days, a very nice aspect to this area. Will probably leave for Eden Wednesday morning, weather permitting.”

Nothing heard from Rob on SUNDOWNER.

Phillip, Shaun should have my phone number, if you need it, I'll send it in a PM. Weather permitting I will meet you on Pittwater on Sunday arvo. Then maybe sail your next leg with either you or Shaun and train it back from somewhere. I no real plans for anything for the next couple of weeks.

Philip will catch up with you when you reach Jervis Bay, I have a 1: 150,000 laminated chart of the Furneaux Group, which you can borrow if you like. I will be comming down the mountain from Goulburn, so will need about 24 hrs notice. All the best for your trip. Andy ( Lapse of Reason)

Just spoke to Shaun and Phillip.

They arrived in Port Stephens last night around 2200. They decided to stay a day there due to being whacked a bit on the way down and needing a rest.

Shaun has a busted auto helm, and one batten needs replacing. Phillip said it was just a mess in Seaka, but all is OK.

At this stage they will be in Pittwater tomorrow or Tuesday, depending on the northerlies.
