Well, Storm Petrel is often out from about 2pm on Wednesday afternoons and we could get out any time in the school holidays Greg. Actually we might look at doing a run North before the end of the year, but I suspect Port Stephens will be the destination rather than LM. I was thinking about going in the next school holidays but I have not managed to get around to giving Stormy her annual bottom scrub and facial so that may have to happen in the holiday break.

If you ever get down to Broken Bay I am sure a few Top Hatters could manage a sickie to say hello.

School holidays sounds good.
I should try for that. I gave F the scrub a few months ago and she's been pretty clean on the bottom, The prop keeps fouling up and getting oysters on it. That really slows her down under motor.

Greg, my work situation has changed somewhat (long story) so mid week is a possibility.

Mark, you should really have a look around Lake Mac..... It's delightful, plus all the clubs have Jettys and showers, so you don't need any supplies, other than beer.......

Hi Michael,

Living on the Central Coast I know LM well and I agree it is great for around the buoys sailing and even a bit of cruising(though it is a lot more built up nowadays than it used to be). I think, however, the national parks around Broken Bay give it the edge in the cruising stakes. I suppose it is the surfer in me, but Stormy and I long for the ocean. My heart jumps and Stormy seems to shake her head with delight(as if to say, 'now this is what I was made for'!) when we get far enough out to lose sight of the land.
