Hi Cyril,
Can you please let me know how you supply power to your laptop when on board?
Input from other members welcome.
Regards,
John Maloney.

Hello again John,
I have a Dell Inspiron laptop and Dell have a connection pack that includes both 240 and 12 volt connections. I simply plug the 12 volt male into one of my cigarette lighter plugs (I have a double - one for the GPS and one for the laptop), and I'm away. With a 12 volt double adapter, you can run the same system in the car. I've had no problems with power as yet. I guess It depends on whether or not your computer company does 12 volt connectons.
Cheers
Cyril.
