I'm in the process of rewiring my boat ,the wiring has been really messed up by some previous owner so I am replacing it all .I have rerun all the cabling back to a central point where I will fit a new control board the only part I haven't worked out yet is the little control board in the cockpit ( the one with the rev counter and ignition switch ) ,there are two broken indication lights and two rotary switches all the markings are gone .Has anyone an idea of what they are for ?
Also on the side of the inboard there is a spade connector for the rev counter wire it has broken off can that detector be removed and replaced ?

I know I'll have to go over my wiring at some point though I'm only losing one internal light at the moment and the nav lights etc work. But it was all done 10+ years ago and things have moved on since then!

I have one switch/fuse panel and another switching box for the mast electrics. My engine panel is inside so it's a different arrangement from yours. My engine has a tab or two free as my panel is the simpler one (Nanni 10HP) with a rev counter but not a thermometer. There are some redundant wires for old GPS and radio but taking them out will leave holes and I'm still filling holes IN! Toying with the idea of a solar panel.

Other projects taking precedence at the moment!

Good luck with it; I think step-by-step will work & all-new (new connector technology etc) will be worth it, as far as I can tell.
