Fitting Bilge Pump

Can any one tell me how I'm supposed to fit my Rule 600 bilge pump into the bilge when there is no where to attached it to get it sitting face down.
I've put in the pipe and wiring, but have'nt figured out how to fix the pump. I've a slow leak which goes above the sea cock in the bilge after about 2 weeks would like to keep it dry.. ANy help thanks....

G'day Denis,
I mounted my bilge pump to a piece of ply then attached a length of 12mm dowel to the ply so that I could lift it out of the bilge to clean it if needed. The dowel is long enough so it is a snug fit under the cabin floor which stops the ply wood (with bilge pump attached) from floating up as the water level in the bilge rises. If you had a float switch for an automatic pump you could mount it to the dowel.

Steve thanks for that sounds like a good idea, I'll try it out. Thanks again
