I am considering in moving the mainsheet control from the top of the cabin in the MK3 to just behind the tiller shaft
Also looking into not installing a traveveller and instead using twin sheets arrangement.
I wonder if any members have installed or considered this system.

But why change something that works well on a TopHat?
My cabin-top traveller is out of the way, has a ball-bearing car with 4-purchase tackle; and I use this as a very important point of adjustment, especially up-wind. The last thing I would want is another set of sheets in the cockpit, tangling with headsail sheets, and requiring one to face aft to adjust. I also use rope bags hanging like saddle bags to the sides of the cabin to keep all sheets, halyards, top/lift, reef lines out of the cockpit. Sorry, no photos tho..

Because the twin mainsheet will be behind the tiller and the halyards can be stored on both rear corners the cockpit will be more saf and free odf ropes and the bags used for the other halyards.
For me, that have problems with stability in my legs I can't stand up on the cockpit on weather with choppy seas and winds over 15 knots. Having the boom control lower and close to the tiller helps to operate the boat seating without the need to sanding up.

I'm considering a similar setup on my Compass 28, the main con is it can be slow to release the main if you get knocked down, but the pros seem good.

By moving one of the mainsheet it can be used as a preventer.
I only need to fit on eyebolt on each side plus reinforce that spot because I have a spare mainsheet.
Obviously, extra halyard is needed for increasing the distance.
