received an email from BLA today, they are the Aus distributers and have none in stock but can order them, they suggested I go to a chandlery and order it as they don't deal with public. So it looks like it can wait til I get home then I guess I'll have to get it from UK at $30 plus shipping. or an entire unit is available here for $70, which
may be a cheaper option.

Rob, any engineering seal company should have an o-ring of the same size. They're not that rare. Harley's have a similar one on the inner primary case. You don't need genuine usually. Check the measurements and call a few to see what they have.

Rob Companies like Bearing Service or CBC Consolidated Bearings usually will make a seal if its an "o" ring. They glue them . We had 6mm o rings 18 inches in diameter made up for some machines. the joint was a little stiff that is the only thing to worry about.
