G'day Hatters,
I have a F9.9AE Yamaha that i have now got running reliably and its now ready to be put on the boat, but I'm missing a tiller handle.
The previous owner of the motor had it running with forward controls.
Do any of you hatters have a tiller handle with a gear shift on it kicking around?
I'm willing to pay.

Hi Aaron,
I replied to your earlier post re this motor.I have just removed one of these motors from my yacht.It was not equipped with a tiller arm or forward controls,however,it has a gear change lever on starboard side of motor and throttle control on front of motor.
I am not sure,but it may be that these motors did not come with a tiller arm.Perhaps you can retrofit a later model tiller arm.

Why did you get rid of it? i recon my toppy going to be a tug boat!
Could you send me some photos of the gear shift and throtle?

Motor past use by date.Still have it here,will see what I can do about photos.

If its a 4 stroke yamaha they dont come with tiller handles only forward control cables and morse thats why i didnt buy 1 i purchased a honda 4 stroke instead
