Pulpit replacement

Pulpit replacement

Postby Bruce » Sat May 10, 2014 7:41 am

Does anyone have any experience in replacing a pulpit on a Mk 1? Mine has taken a knock from something passing by and has been pushed back a long way.

I need to know where I can get a replacement made up. I'm in the Brooklyn area on the Hawksbury. Anywhere in Sydney or the Central Coast would be fine. Any rough costs would be appreciated too.

Bruce,

The question is, did you have an original pulpit or was it a modified one.
If you have a look in the Photo section for Mk 1's you will be able to give us an idea.

There are some good ones of Seaka's which is a modified one. Guess she lost the original somewhere along the way.
We have the drawings for the original pulpit, so you will be OK if that's the way you go.

On other SS work I've had quotes for [but didn't proceed] I reckon you will be up for around + $600 at least.
Phillip.
