wax on- wax off

Hi Hatters, looking for your input re polishing and waxing firstly hull and secondly topsides (excluding non-slip areas). Would you suggest wet sanding the hull prior to buffing? (1500grit?). What products have you found work best (buffing and polishing).

Will do the hull when we go on the hard to do the antifouling.
