JoyLee has come out of the water for the next phase of the refit from hell- 14 days now and still counting... wonder if she will still float?? :cry: rudder tube out and still being fabricated, new propshaft( again!! :evil: )2 ribs half way through doing, rigging replaced but a shitload left to do on the mast..at least when she is back in I can start on propulsion and maybe be sailing again this season :D :o here are a few pics of progress

Wow, that is awesome, Chris! Lots of work to do but she's gunna be a beauty when you have finished. Even when you have half finished she will be a beauty.

And I am happy I am not the only one doing a never-ending refit :D .

haha- no you are one of the many Louis! the sooner people realise that their boat is undergoing a neverending refit the easier the relationship gets, its a bit like a woman really- the sooner you realise that every time you see her you need to give her gifts and lavish care before anything else is going to happen the less drama she will give you ;)

Good advice, thank you for that. I will gift wrap the new orbital sander I am about to buy for Windchaser and give it to my wife as a gift. I certainly hope that cuts down the drama : ).
