Size of asymmetric kite

I need a bit advice about asymmetric spinnakers. I am thinking of supplementing my symmetric kite with an asymmetric. The sailmaker suggested I should go big; perhaps 45 square metres. I would have thought 35 square metres would be plenty. What are other Tophatters using??

I use an asymmetric kite, not sure of the size but if sheeted in tight it comes back pretty much to the cabin door!! Maybe too big but helps in light winds

Downside, difficult to manage solo and doesnt go well and not the best for running directly downwind
