This is a plug for the Cruising Yacht Association of Victoria (CYAV)'s new "Cruising Victoria" book which has just been published.
It's a high quality very comprehensive publication and includes the PPB, WPB, Bass Strait and islands, northern Tasmania and the Gippsland Lakes (but no inland waterways).
Have a look at the CYAV website

I'm not going to get one. It would only make me envious.

On the muddy sandfly and croc infested Fitzroy River CQld.
PS Perhaps I should buy another Top Hat and leave it moored down Vic way ready for holidays.

Oh don't be too sad, just watch out for our crappy cold southern days, pop another tinnie (beers that is) and have some more prawns.

Hi Nick.
Are you in China or back in Oz?
I'm off down to Flinders Island again late January, looking forward to "road testing" the book.
Cheers, Graeme

Hi Graeme, yep still in China, will be back in January for a visit but only for 2 weeks. I'm hoping do a bit of sailing in port Philip when I'm back. Unfortunately I don't have enough time this summer for a bass strait trip, maybe next summer.
Cheers
Nick
