After a lengthy stay at Carnarvon it's good to be on the move again. Monkey Mia is in Shark Bay and has a protected anchorage from the prevailing south winds. I will wait here for a suitible window for the run south past the Zuhdorp cliffs. The resort here is boat friendly with water fuel and showers available. also bars restaurant and a general store. Not to mention the visual spendor of all the tourists.
cheers Rob

Rob intends to sail this Friday 9th to Cape Peron North and anchor in the Broadhurst Bight. 30nm
Next day he will sail to South Passage between Dirk Hartog Island and the mainland.50nm
Probably anchor in Gerritsen Cove or Shelter Bay. Note for Rob: Many Tiger Sharks in this area!

From South Passage Rob reckons it's a three day voyage to Geraldton, but I reckon he may stop at Port Gregory if things become to tough! 175nm

Rob has made it to Shelter Bay in South Passage. That's Kells Rock to his east.

Now for the big jump to Geraldton.

Long way to Geraldton, about 400 km or more I think. Winds from down south, 30 km/hr, higher speeds tomorrow. Guess it will mean a week beating into the wind.
