Hi there,

We are selling a Top Hat Mk 1. It has relatively new rigging and new outboard. Other than that, in pretty basic/original/rundown condition but it sails well!

Worth $10,000. Will sell for $5000 for a quick sale.

We have a new yacht and this one is just sitting there not getting used...

Currently moored in Hunters Hill (Parramatta River).

Call on 0400 22 22 82 if you would like to take a look or go for a test sail!

Thanks

Rebekah

This boat is still available. I had a look today. Basic boat, showing it's age. Not a skerrick of varnish on the woodwork. Negligible fitout. However, the rigging was said to have been replaced about 6 years ago, and the motor was new then too. Internal paint is peeling, and the boat would look a lot better if you flaked it all off to reveal the original speckled glass fibre finish.
Not been anti-fouled for maybe 18 months, but she does not have a beard, so maybe someone has broomed the hull in between.
Bek is negotiable on price, so if you are after a basic boat which could be tarted up this could be your opportunity. Mooring is also included. Easy access from little dinghy steps, five minute row. Nice view.

I have more pics and can give a more detailed description if anybody is interested in this boat. If you consider that the most important criteria are -replaced rigging, newish motor, and availability of a mooring in Sydney, I think this boat would be a good buy for someone who just wants to day-sail in the Harbour.
