FREEBIE - No 1 GENOAS AVAILABLE - BOTH ALLOCATED

This is a sort of Xmas in July present.

When I bought my old Mark I Azzura it came with a new furling No I and I now have two spare No 1 gennies that are excess to requirments and free to anyone who can use them;

1 Dacron with hanks, old but quite usable
1 Mylar with hanks and luff tape, a few patches but basically O.K.

There is no room for them on the boat and they are better being used than gathering mould in my garden shed. Anyone who can use them, even as spares, is welcome to have them if you can pick them up from me at my home in Castle Hill.

If you are interested, PM me.

Sean

Peppercorn would love a No 1.
We would then be INVINCIBLE in twilight races.
Free is the price I pay for most things on my boat. One of these sails could be a improvement on my current No 2 which has over 50 patches in it [true].Its a long story.
I have tried to PM you but dont know if it was successfull.

Hi Bear,

The Father's Day weekend is not ideal as I am locked into a Sunday lunch :( , but I might manage to drive by on Saturday and meet people at the Wangee Workers' Club. I will work on it.

Hi Sean,
On the members only thread, you mention you are a member of the Coastal Cruising Club of Australia, could you give me an idea of what they do, get-togethers etc, & is there any benefit of being a member in a regional area, ie away from when they have meetings etc?
cheers
Shaun

Hi Shaun,

I suggest you go to http://sites.google.com/site/cccaust/ and get a snapshot of the Club there for a start.
The Coastal Cruising Club (the call sign is Triple Cee ) has Port officers all around the Oz coast and your contacts in Camden Haven would be Greg and Anne Goldsmith who have a Defiance 30 named Little Sister (you probably know them!). Okay, so they don't have a Top Hat, but Triple Cee members are nice folk despite that
Have a chat to them, their contact phone number is 02 6585 5504.
