BTW, since my advert I have decided for the present to keep her. She's about to have survey, insurance, anti-fouling , toilet replaced (never used by me but it's going to be 12V loo.
Sea cocks all checked and replaced if over tight. New engine has been panel fitted, new clock, cleaning completed., I have new battery solar panels and controllers for her.....
mooring will be checked this week....new last year.

The shipwright I am using will also do the survey. He was also my saviour from the relentlessly giddying circle of need insurance before slipping, need slipping for survey,
need survey for insurance. The insurer will allow a top survey for insuring and then a hull survey at antifoul...after a couple of days of frustration and a long search at end
2023 I found him last week. His antifouling is a lot cheaper than the bigger names but then he likely has lower costs. I liked his willingness to fit in with my needs.
The quoted insurance for comprehensive was about 5/8th of another's for 3rd party only.

One insurer would only insure over 38K...so for a lesser sum premiums are disproportionate. Presumably with new rigging and some $20,000 spent on the boat once this next
month is done the underwriter realises the risk of deliberate damage is minimised. He also personally knows the rigger and the shipwright. I am proactive in 'do it once do
it well' and the reason I am looking after the boat well, is for that reason...I have several surgical interventions including cardiac knee and another also so I can't use the boat
....however I will not let it sit and sit and sit....My regards
