Our much love and lived on MRII Top Hat sailboat is up for sail, $4,500 ONO. We have had it for two years and spent much time living on her. She has a swing mooring next to Huntleys Point Ferry Wharf car park making the boat very accessible. The privet mooing is fully transferable and will go with the boat as well as a tandem Kayak we use as a tender.
We had Misty Blue out of the water, all through holes replaced, antifouled and a new head installed as well as repairs to the rudder. This work was done in May 2017 so she is due for an antifoul. She had a small amount of osmosis and the shipwright said the hull was in good condition for its age.
She has a very full wardrobe of sails. The rigging is in ok condition, but some ropes need replacing. The outboard motor was working but needs work. Misty has a large solar power system which will charge laptops & phones its enough to also run a small fridge if needed. The power currently only runs into the battery & inverter so needs rewiring into the bilge pump and main lighting.
If you are looking for a Top Hat or small sailboat that need some work but nothing major, then this would make a grate project. It’s also a great place hide away and avoid paying rent if your up for an alternative lifestyle.
