Top Hat Mark 1 for sale

Hi everyone.

I listed my boat here a few years ago but decided not to part with it in the end. This time it has to go!

It's a Mark 1 on a mooring at Parsley Bay. It was extensively refurbished in 2010 with new sails, new furling system, repainted hull, new propeller etc etc. A lot of money was spent. However the inboard diesel kept letting me down. It has a single cylinder 13hp Sole which hasn't run for two years. The battery is dead. The propeller coupling has failed meaning that when the driveshaft rotates, the prop shaft doesn't. It's all repairable but I ran out of enthusiasm and now own another boat. It's also easy to put an outboard on the back to get it mobile for not a lot of money.

The sails when I last looked were in as new condition and had only be used a few times. The rest of the boat is now dirty, needs anti fouling and needs a fair bit of TLC. It's registered.
