Oh for another top hat

I recently took a step down to a micro cruiser and sold Seamonkey plus cash for a 4 metre John Welsford "Fafnir".regrettably so. My body is not as nimble as it once was and finding the much smaller boat far tool light. Was thinking of possibly a northerner or compass 28 but a good one nears $20000 or more.
Can't find anything as good as the top hat but with an extra few feet so I might be looking for another one but this time must have a good diesel motor, don't care mik 1,2 or 3 as long as it is in very good condition. There is a nice mik 1 at Callala Bay for $14500, another at Brooklyn for $11000, both with good diesels. Contact me if you are considering selling yours and it suits. Seamonkey has the best internal fit out in my opinion so something set up with all controls back to cockpit would be good. Chart table and porta loo in lieu of pump out would be preferred. Although the outboard performed well the constant noise on a long trip was unforgivable, even a new 4 stroke.
