I have recently bought an old maxie two burner metho cooker. I am wanting to renew the wicks but cannot find a current for maxco industries. Tried several fone numbers but all disconnected. Have they gone out of business? Can I still buy maxie parts from anywhere else?

Rod, I think you might be able to get them from Whitworths who still supply maxi stove stuff but the manufacturers have changed many times and they still are made but it takes months to get a new 2 burner and grill for example - I recently got a new one and then sent it back as it simply was not as good as the old maxie stove I had on Marinka. I am fairly certain that Whitworths will be able to get you the wick for it. I ended up getting an origio metho stove. Cheers
