Time to downsize the fleet, not the cheapest Top Hat, but you get what you pay for

Mark,

That's a proper price for a Top Hat, especially a Mark 1.

Sorry to hear you have to move on, but whoever buys "Mari Anne" will get a real good buy.

Agree that Mari Anne is a fast and well set up Top Hat. Did you buy a bigger yacht?

Cheers,
Mark

Yes Mark, bought a Catalina 36 MKII, still enjoy sailing the top hat with the HRYC, part of me hopes it doesn't sell .........but one must be realistic :)

Yes Mark, she's a little bit roomier than the Top hat. Partner likes the idea of brewing coffee and baking cakes whilst I sail round the cans, hence the need for a bigger boat. Not being one to argue........ She sails quite well, haven,t been out in anything over about 15kts, has a winged keel and only draws about 4'6. Will make the 3 island race with the HRYC a little more comfortable.......cold beer in the fridge and nice shower at the end of the day
