I note that David Bray has Deus Regit for sale at $8.7k. This is the Top Hat that was sailed to Canada, down to Mexico and back the Australia in the late 80's. I hope she finds a good home. She is certainly competitively priced. It is a worry that the resale value of these seaworthy little yachts is dropping so rapidly. Though I guess it is only a problem if you are selling your boat.

Been in contact with DBYS today , and they assure me that it has been sold . Hopefully I find similar conditioned Top Hats available at a ridiculously low price such as this one was sold for , when we return to Sydney ...

At least this quick sale shows that perspective buyers are seeing a point at which Top Hats are being under valued and snapping them up . Though what makes me curious is when you see a similar Top Hat for sale at almost double the price , the owner obviously believes it is worth what they are asking for it , though the buying market dictates value ....
