Hi
Can anyone tell me the rigging arrangements for the headsail, should the boat have genoa tracks port and starboard or just stanchion type blocks for the sheets to pass thru
regards

Mark

Hi Mark,
I have a mark 3. I gather mine used to have tracks on the deckways because I can see where the original hole fixings have been filled in. The tracks are now located on the toe rails either side and are about 1200mm in length. Allows me to adjust the position of the traveller depending on the headsail in use. System seems to work well and gives me good access along the deckway without tripping over the system. Still a novice sailor here and not sure how other TH's are rigged or what is the preferred option.

Hi Mark,
Tales (MK III) has a genoa track port and starboard.
Also has spinaker blocks aft of the winch.
You can see examples of these setups on this site.

Home page :-
Top right side picture.

Pictures section:-
P5 Windchaser 2
P6 chtophat 002
P7 Prelude

When reaching or running another block forward of the genoa track would be useful too.
Cheers,
Tom
