always wondered how a tophat would take to the ground.. nice touch showing your ball there in case someone tried to sail on through you! i'm interested to know how far over the gun'l the water came (or if) before she started to float again? next time perhaps take a brush and a can of antifoul??

G'day Bill,
Well I have run aground a few times but never as convincingly as this. The Northerner looks good though even when she is in this somewhat, less than dignified position. Anyway great to see you still pushing the boundaries.
Cheers,

You might laugh, but that's the Bears legs.
I've run aground 33 times in Port Hacking and 3 times in our little adventure up north. You're not trying if you don't hit the planet some times.
Port Hacking only has two types of sailors, those that have run aground and those that are going to run aground.
